John Hooper

John trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, and with the world-renowned sketch/improvisational comedy troupe The Groundlings. Back in the Bay Area, John has done shows with companies such as StageWorks, Awesome ’80s Prom, Wiseguys, American Immersion Theater, Carrollwood Players and works his improv chops regularly with Nine and Numb. Most recently, John received critical acclaim for his voice-over portrayal of a particularly foul-mouthed See & Say toy for the 2019 Tampa Bay Theatre Festival. John is a single dad to Saara, Lily and Miles, and they (sometimes) live with him in a house in Seminole that has at least one ghost in it.
