For one weekend only, Hat Trick Theatre is taking on the Bard: 3 men, 37 plays, 97 minutes –what could go wrong? In one foul swoop (with a 15 minute intermission) our heroes will attempt to cover the comedies, tackle the tragedies, and hash out the histories of William Shakespeare. (We might even let out a sonnet or two.) Whether your familiarity with Shakespeare is limited to the balcony scene of Romeo and Juliet, or you’ve studied his works down to the crooked spine of Richard III, this show will leave you amazed, if not amused.
Starring Tampa actors Steve Fisher and Paul McColgan, with Jack Holloway as both an actor and director. This is Hat Trick Theatre’s debut as the resident theatre company of the Murray Studio at Ruth Eckerd Hall. Join us in celebrating the grand opening of the Murray and getting to know the actors that call it home.
Performances of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings at 7:30 pm
